Everything is going smoothly as planned in making the perpetrators pay for their sins. As expected Shim Su Ryeon and Logan Lee's tandem is a perfect combination. 

I am so relieved that Su Ryeon is still actually in her proper mind to do not stoop down the level of everybody else and become a murderer. Until the end, she's a wonderful mother that wanted to take responsibility of her living children, Joo Seok-hoon and Joo Seok-kyung. Even though she isn't their mother by blood, she still loved them as her own. That's how beautiful Su Ryeon's character really is, at the end of the day, she is just a loving mother with rightful thinking. 

Unlike Oh Yoon Hee. It's true that she's a dedicated mother and even Su Ryeon had said it so, that she's really becoming fearless when it comes to her daughter. But she's just too much! Gosh! Oh Yoon Hee's character is really getting on my nerves. I thought it was Chen Seon Yi who's the evilest woman there is in the drama but I was proven wrong by Oh Yoon Hee. I guess the most unbearable emotion is anger towards a betrayal of someone we all thought is sane and kind-hearted, Oh Yoon Hee is the living proof of that. The evidences were already out that and Su Ryeon was already giving her a chance and yet she was too full of herself that she can act on her own as long as she stay connected with the powerful person at Hera Palace. She even tried to blackmail Logan Lee! Wow, the audacity of her to do that when we all know Logan Lee wanted to kill her upfront already. Ugh.

Shim Su Ryeon Is Taking Her Revenge To Another Level In The Penthouse: War In Life Episode 18

This episode is nerve wrecking as Shim Su Ryeon taking her revenge to another level. Even though I'm celebrating the sufferings of these wicked elites in her own hands, suffocating in smokes of fire and fear of death, I still am very much concerned with Su Ryeon's safety the entire time. Especially now that the friend she's considering is becoming more desperate in achieving a 'special' life she could offer for her own daughter. Oh Yoon Hee is no longer a friend but a threat, she's no different to others. At first I really liked her determination in doing everything to provide for her daughter but everything is just too much now. Her greediness is the one taking control, she's becoming just like her rival Cheon Seon Yi for that matter, an adulteress and murderer. That's why I'm so nervous for Su Ryeon, it's true that Logan Lee is behind her, but we just cannot take away the fact that she's going against not just one but many elites at once. One mistake and Shim Su Ryeon is all done for. 

Red Velvet Won Two Trophies from the Asian Pop Music Awards 2020

Despite the long hiatus that Red Velvet took as a group the entire year of 2020, their hit song Psycho continue to receive numerous recognitions. If we are to recall, Psycho was released December of 2019 and has no promotions at all, yet it's still one of kpop songs today that stayed relevant after releases from different groups and soloists. Did you know that Hwang In Yeop and Moon Ga Young are from the same agency, Keyeast? Keyeast is an entertainment agency founded by the Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon in 1996. It used to house huge stars today such as Kim Soo Hyun (2010-2019), Lee Ji Ah (2007-2011), Park Seo Jun (2014-2018), Kim Hyun Joong (2010-2020), Jung Ryeo Won (2012-2020) and many more. However despite huge stars leaving or not renewing contract with Keyeast, it still has a lot of promising artists left such as Hwang In Yeop, Moon Ga Young, Joo Ji Hoon, Kang Han Na and a lot more!

I was surprised to actually see Moon Ga Young and Hwang In Yeop's photos in Keyeast's website and it's probably the reason why they share a comfortable vibe acting their scenes together. True Beauty created a way for them to bond and I'm pretty sure that even after this drama, they already hold a connection that even Cha Eun Woo cannot hinder. lol Unless he wanted to join them in that agency as well. 

Elegant Woman Lee Ji Ah Featured in DAZED Korea Magazine

Our Shim Soo Ryeon, Lee Ji-Ah had graced a well known magazine DAZED Korea for their November 2020 issue. It's no longer a shock for us to see her do modeling with how graceful, tall and gorgeous she is. She's totally not just an actress but a model material as well. 

Not only did she turned into a stylish black swan in this feature but she also revealed the reason why she took The Penthouse project. She stated that aside from the fun scenes, it was a popular project among other colleagues at her agency which is why it created a familiar setting. 

Lee Ji Ah also mentioned how relatively unusual the script was having action scenes despite the drama being high-class. The Penthouse: War In Life also allowed her to portray a different kind of character to showcase a distinctive acting.

Moon Ga Young Discovers Hwang In Yeop's Leopard Print Underwear In True Beauty Episode 6

I think this is the highlight of episode 6, Han Seo Jun's leopard print underwear! That was really hilarious and cute at the same time. Being busted by Joo Kyung while dancing and singing foolishly along 'okey dokey' song. At first, he was trying to act cool and then he hurriedly went to his room and scream after being away of Joo Kyung's watchful eyes. He's a real cutiepie!

Aside from Seojun's cute acts, Lee Suho is back again with his protective gestures towards Joo Kyung. However, the latter already knew better and no longer expecting anything more from Suho which is a bit sad because Suho really liked her. Hopefully he could confess real soon.

Girl's Generation's Taeyeon and VIXX's Ravi are Dating?!

It was reported today by Joy News 24, that Taeyeon and Ravi have been dating each other for almost a year now and that they both spent their Christmas day together in Ravi's house. (Source: Soompi)

What's odd with it is that, this news has been denied plainly by SM Entertainment saying that they are only close colleagues working together but Ravi's agency called GROOVL1N seemed confused what to say. First, they said they are going to check with him but later reports said that one of their representatives confirmed that the two were really dating. Park Eun Seok | A Quick Guide To The Cast Of Kdrama The Penthouse: War In Life

Among all the guys in The Penthouse: War In Life Kdrama, Park Eun Seok's character as Logan Lee is probably the most decent one. He's not the cleanest but he's much more decent compared to the other male characters in this Kdrama. lol Let's not forget that he abandoned his foster sister Min Seol-Ah before for whatever reason, but he's already making up for his mistake and is avenging her miserable death.

Now that he's on the move and in tandem with Seol-Ah's biological mother, Shim Soo Ryeon, I just can't help but love his character even more. It's like he's the savior that I am looking for in this stressful Kdrama, not that I don't have faith in Soo Ryeon's plans, but her and Logan's combination made everything more effective and it somehow lessen my nervousness for Soo Ryeon's sake.

Kim Yoo Jin (Eugene) | A Quick Guide To The Cast Of Kdrama The Penthouse: War In Life

Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) was one of the characters I've loved in the early episodes of this Kdrama, but it all went down the drain when she started acting like everybody else. I know her character is a loving mother that will do everything in her power to protect and provide for her only daughter. At first I really liked that trait of her, but sometimes it's just going overboard that she's starting to do or think of wicked ways in order to achieve that. 

I think after episode 16, in which she was shown to be the new strong suspect in pushing Min Seol-Ah from the 47th floor balcony of Hera Palace, I'm starting to feel hatred towards her character. I know nothing yet was proven and that we still don't know who the real murderer is but witnessing Oh Yoon Hee betray Shim Soo Ryeon is a bit too much for me. Shim Soo Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) has been my favorite character ever since so I don't want to see her suffer any longer but she's about to be deceived by Oh Yoon Hee who she trusted. This is yet another heartbreak, but I wish Shim Soo Ryeon has planned everything to retaliate this betrayal from her so called friend.

• Eugene was popularly known as the member of the first generation girl group under SM Entertainment, S.E.S. She debuted with the group in 1997.

Lee Suho and Joo Kyung made our hearts flutter when both of them finally acted on their feelings, starting with that honest comment from Suho. Of course, anyone would be swayed when someone as handsome as Suho would tell us we're beautiful even without the make up, right? In the case of Jookyung, her face without make-up is her most hidden secret to the public, and only Suho knew about if from their entire school and yet he still remained very accepting of her. Ed Sheeran Is Back After A Year Break From Work & Social Media

Last year, Ed Sheeran announced that he will be taking a break from work and from using social media. It was December 2019 back then but now with almost a year, he's back with his new music 'Afterglow'. That could only mean one thing too, right? That soon he's going to release a whole new album! A very wonderful gift for everyone because we all have been waiting for it.

This wasn't the first time he took a break from social media though, because in year 2015, he also did the same. He posted about "seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes" on his Instagram that time too. We are all hooked up in social media and sometimes it could be really toxic, so I understand where he's coming from. We all needed some break if everything's getting too much.

But now, everyone is glad of his return! I hope he and Taylor could save the music industry together.

Maeda Atsuko To Leave Ota Pro, Her Agency Since Debut, And Start Anew As Freelancer This 2021

It was reported that Maeda Atsuko will leave her agency Ota Production, who she worked with since debut, to become a freelancer. The news broke out when she posted on her Instagram as well as Ota Pro's officially statement released from their website. Her contract with this company will last till December 31 this year only. 

Acchan mentioned on her Instagram account that she wanted to have fun and be courageous taking this new path. 

I think it's really a good decision if she wanted to achieve that 'fun' she's talking about. Probably she felt restricted being under an agency she has been with in her entire career. I don't think there's much to be worried about either, at this point she has made a name in the industry and people liked watching her. Productions will cast her as their actress if they really wanted to. She isn't someone that's name could be pushed over the back just because she went on solo, she has proven that when she graduated from the all hit idol group AKB48 back then. So I'm sure that she'll do fine on her own without agency now. It's not like she had announced retirement that we couldn't see her anymore either. But I'm curious how she'll market herself in the future. Anyways, I'm proud of her in whatever she'll do in the future. I really admire her courage, it's something to be jealous about, really.

We all know how Wendy took a long hiatus because of her accident last December 2019. A lot of solo project opportunities for her were pushed back and also affected the group Red Velvet since she's the main vocalist and backbone of their songs. Soo Ryeon Finally Making Revenge Face-to-Face With Joo Dan Tae In The Penthouse: War In Life Episode 17

Soo Ryeon finally using the fruit of her plans in keeping Hye-In alive to sabotage Joo Dan Tae's greediness. That was so satisfying seeing Joo Dan Tae lose his mind in front of Logan Lee, who he sees as prospect big business partner, I bet he was really humiliated. Dan Tae may be reading Soo Ryeon's actions as revenge for killing her husband for now, but if he ever find out that she is also Seol Ah's mother...then he'll probably lose his shit.

However, Soo Ryeon making a move upfront with his psycho husband means living through the flames of hell as well and it was shown how Joo Dan Tae treated her at their penthouse unit. Her struggle just kept prolonging and at this point of time, I wonder if Logan Lee is really her ally but if so, I want him to comfort Soo Ryeon.

The Viewers Felt Betrayed In the Episode 16 Of The Penthouse: War In Life

Oh no! I was completely blown away by this massive twist! I knew it, we shouldn't really trust any character in this drama series. 

Although I have speculations before too, that Oh Yoon Hee maybe was the real suspect, I brushed it off right away when she acted like she was the victim of all the elites in this drama. I came to like her character for helping out Shim Soo Ryeon, but this episode made me hate her a million instantly. 

I felt so betrayed as a viewer, because I've given my sympathy to her, and yet she was the one who pushed Min Seol Ah in the end? What's worst is, Shim Soo Ryeon confessed that she was Seol Ah's mother right on time when Yoon Hee recalled what she had done. Soo Ryeon was about to apologize too for using her and that she's gonna outright ask Yoon Hee to be her accomplice willingly. But damn, all her plans will start crumbling down because Yoon Hee, the killer, will never be busted if Soo Ryeon's working with her. Ah! This is so messed up for her and I hope Logan Lee will help Soo Ryeon out. 

However, Yoon Hee was drunk that night, and maybe the flashbacks were just outcome of her brain toying with her. There might still be possibility to spin the bottle again and pick other characters as suspects. Seo Jin and Dan Tae's turns were done and now it's Yoon Hee. I'm gonna wait further if there will be another massive twist to mend all the miserable events done by this current twist with Yoon Hee.

I've been really curious about Lee Ji Ah since I saw her from the k-drama, My Mister. She's really prim and proper, graceful and also a great actress. My curiosity on who Lee Ji Ah is hit over the roof when I saw her act again in the hit drama, The Penthouse: War In Life. She really portrays all my first impression of her accurately there. Cha Eun Woo Gets Possessive Over Moon Ga Young in True Beauty Episode 4

This episode we got to see how Suho's starting to build feelings for Jookyung, but of course he's still oblivious to it. His actions were a bit obvious though with how he became jealous over the guys that meets Jookyung. And the fact that he stalks her to the cinema with her blind date and left his math exams clearly manifested how he has affections towards Jookyung. 

We got a glimpse also of the past with their mutual friend, Yoon Seyeon. He's the guy that died because of suicide due to bullying accusations. The guy that both Suho and Seojun loved dearly but also became the cause of their fallen friendship. Hmm.. I wonder how they will mend that friendship now that they're going to face off to capture one woman's heart. Well, more like, Seojun just toying with Jookyung to piss Suho but I know eventually that he'll fall for her very soon too. 

Suho Found Out Joo-kyung's Secret in True Beauty Episode 3

This kdrama is becoming my happy pill. Never failed to make me laugh especially in this episode when Joo Kyung danced to Hwasa's Maria during a serious meeting of the school teachers and head. That was really hilarious and even Suho can't deny that too. I feel like he's starting to like Jookyung slowly but surely. Also, may I just add how beautiful it is that Suho is becoming the way of Jookyung to finally show herself too? I mean, she may not be showing her real face (without make up) to the class but her true personality is coming out naturally because of her agreement with Suho. 

The Penthouse: War In Life | Recommended Kdrama

If you are into mystery, thriller and mature genres of k-drama then I would really recommend The Penthouse: War In Life. It is on-going hit series as of writing but 15 episodes were already out. It's expected to end with 21 episodes up till the first week of January 2021. The drama so far is flying with it's viewership rating starting from its pilot episode of 6.7% to latest episode 15 of 23%. Due to its success, even if it's still airing, the production team already announced officially that it will have 2nd and 3rd season. 

The Penthouse: War In Life's plot and characters were really outstanding and unpredictable, reason why I'm no longer surprised how it attracted a lot of viewers. Seriously, I was always over the edge of my seat as I watched every episodes, I just couldn't foresee what's coming next. The suspense and mystery got me hooked up and I'm ended up seeking for more episodes! I didn't know how much I love and needed to watch this kind of genre until I watched this drama, really incredible for me.

One thing that made me liked this drama is I just can't trust any of its characters. Everyone is madly insane!!! They created villains of their own selves and continue to be at each other's neck to achieve their desires for more power and luxury. I'm just blown away how twisted the characters were, especially Shim Soo Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah), Cheon Seo Jin (Kim Seo Yeon) and Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) in the entire series. No, not just them but their respective husbands and children too! They were all pretty much on the same level of madness! I've felt so many emotions watching this, anger, sadness, pity, madness, joy, suspense, fear and more! 

The three actresses I've mentioned above were all impressive with their acting. They were all convincing that I'm always carried away by my emotions watching them. 

Lee Ji Eun/ IU's 'My Mister' Showcased the Sorrows of an Adult Life | Recommended Kdrama

I honestly didn't want to watch this drama even though my favorite idol actress starred here, and even when my male officemate who's an IU fanboy repeatedly pushes me to watch this. Why? I just know how much of a heavy and heart wrenching drama this is by seeing the official posters of it, which I wasn't ready for. But for whatever reason yesterday, I pull an all-nighter just to finish this drama. Guess what? I wasn't wrong with my first impression of it, I was totally blown away by its life lessons and tear jerking moments. I've never cried so much like that in a while, even in reality. If you're having a tough time and want an outlet where you can release all your emotions at once then this is the recommended drama for you. 

The life lessons embarked in this story were overflowing, every words each characters said were all piercing straight to the heart. And speaking of characters, you'll experience a roller coaster ride of loving and hating the characters, Ji Ahn (IU), Dong Hoon (Lee Sun Kyun), Kwang-Il (Jang Ki Yeong), Kang Yoon Hee (Lee Ji Ah) Dong Hoon's family, friends and colleagues. Every actors that portray their role in this drama were all really impressive with their acting. But the characters that I got deeply invested with were the first four names I've mentioned. Here's why:

I thought I wouldn't get super hooked to this drama the first episode, but I was so wrong! This episode really got me!

2 handsome men surrounding you is just 'the dream' for every woman! Every time Suho and Seojun appears on the screen, I just cannot pick one on who's the best. They both have their own charisma and sex appeal that are so attractive. I'd say that the struggle is real for Jookyung here! 

Like I said before, I haven't seen the manhwa of this and I am not interested since I want surprises when watching the live action. So my reactions here would be really raw. 

Upon watching episode 2, I'm so impressed at how good the plot was. Suho discovers the 'true beauty' of Jookyung first while clueless about her 'fake' beauty. With this, I'm assuming that Jookyung would end up with Suho. That first interaction they had in the first episode, I'm sure, will become a huge bridge in making those two fall in love. However, that's not yet the endgame because what would make this drama even better is Seojun's character. I think the 'second lead syndrome' would be waving at us real soon! I feel like Seojun would be the first one to find out the whole secret of Jookyung and he'll be the one to protect her in the end. Waah! This is going to be really hard! 

True Beauty (Cha Eun Woo & Moon Ga Young)

This is my very first time to actually watch Cha Eun Woo in a drama. I wasn't a fan of ASTRO either so I just usually see his face whenever he passes by my timeline. Even so, I'm honestly so attracted to him for his good looks and body figure! He's like the man of every woman's dreams!!! He's good looking and tall and my attraction towards this man went through the roof after watching him in the first episode of True Beauty!!!! Like wow, he's so fucking gorgeous!! Even the way he speaks enchants me so much! I love his speaking voice and even the way he sighs! Omg, I'm so whipped. I'm so glad I look up into him and watched this drama of his. 

Start-Up Kdrama Finale

Start-Up has ended already and I'm feeling really sad about it. It's the last among the 3 k-dramas I'm tuning in and writing reviews since October of this year. First Search, second Tale of the Nine Tailed and now Start-Up ended. How can I cope up now without those 3 on air? Of course, find another kdrama to watch!

Anyways, it took me a while to write a review over the last two episodes of Start-Up because I got to see some spoilers on Facebook about Do San and Dal Mi kissing while Ji Pyeong is left with only the money tree. Judging quickly from those spoilers, I already know the ending which is a bit disappointing on my part. I did say that I've accepted already that Dal Mi will end up with Do San in my previous post but I guess I was only fooling myself. I thought that this isn't the ending that I really wanted at all. My heart has been captured fully by Ji Pyeong throughout this drama and he has all the reasons why Dal Mi should end up with but we're stuck with the fact that Do San is the male lead so Ji Pyeong wouldn't stand a chance. Not that Do San is not worthy of Dal Mi, both Ji Pyeong and Do San are worthy to be honest. I'm only speaking now in terms of my own preference and it's Ji Pyeong that I wanted for Dal Mi.

Tale of the Nine Tailed Finale Episode (A Happy Ending?!)

And finally we reached the end! Again, it's all thanks to Lee Rang's character that saved not just the ending but the whole show. Seriously, I've had my heartbreak when in the end Lee Rang has to sacrifice himself and his happiness from his new found family to get Lee Yeon back, but I wasn't surprised at all. Maybe in this lifetime, it's Lee Rang's fate to suffer for the consequences of his sins, in this case it's to die in the end. On another topic/character, I must say, I've never depended too much on Ji Ah getting Lee Yeon back since she's so incapable since the very beginning. All she ever done was nag the Granny at Samdo River to bring back Lee Yeon but hey I guess that was effective summoning the King of Darkness all thanks to Granny's unlimited phone calls. lol But still, Ji Ah's character never weighed so much to me, because all she ever portray is being the human girl that the nine tailed fox Lee Yeon loved. I guess that's her sole role in the story.
