The other night, Wendy posted yet another phenomenal song cover! (Nope, I'm not exaggerating.) Everything Wendy does is phenomenal anyways, so nope, I'm not exaggerating. Anyways back to Wendy's newest song cover, it's Look At Me by George and damn that song was really beautiful. Because of Wendy I'm able to discover amazing artists as well which is really great coz I like discovering new artists as you can see in my previous blog entries.

Up until now, I still wonder what she meant with "Lately singing isn't going well so I'm concerned" because damn she sounds amazing just like ALWAYS. But maybe it's because she haven't performed in front of us luvies that she's starting to worry about whether she and her voice still stays relevant. Like seriously, if you all look at the songs that she's been trying to cover they are all like longing for someone... and it's understandable in her case because she's been away for half a year now in order to recover from her injuries. I feel so emotional whenever I talk about Wendy, and I still feel the anger with SBS for doing this to her. Aghh..
I'm a bit late in posting this in the blog, but this has to be done. I'm sharing here the masterpiece Wendy shared in LYSN app. She was really MIA for several days already and every fans were starting to feel her absence even painful and heavier as day passes by. It's amazing how reveluvs, more wendyluvs, go crazy in this hard time. And Wendy supplementing us with this emotional cover just made us lose it all. I literally jumped out of my bed when I saw this on twitter. lol Gosh I really really like Wendy's voice so much. I'm dying to get a copy of her solo album once she debuted SOLO. Please SM, give us what we want. This is taking so long! Ahhh...

Wendy saying she was nervous recording and that it didn't do well really is her personality. RV says this so in their fanmeet that Wendy really worries a lot, but she has to know that the cover really went well. It was amazing, even!
So yesterday, I actually stumbled upon a new artist. The moment I heard the random playlist on youtube, I instantly had the urge to search for the singer coz the lyrics were really great and his voice is so lovely that it felt like I'm so absorbed in it. It was really great. It somehow made me feel emotions again, lol. Not that I became numb or something but maybe because of the quarantine thing that made me feel like that. Anyways, I would really love to share this to everyone, the name of the artist is Matt Maltese and the random playlist that I've stumbled upon was hasoyi's on youtube.

This playlist consist only of 3 songs but it was enough for me to get so hooked up with the artist and so I discovered Matt's youtube and twitter. Apparently, considering the amount of followers he has on youtube, he's not that kind of famous yet. But I really feel that one day, this guy's gonna blast in popularity coz of his great songs. Hmm.. I wish more people would be able to listen to him... Matt kinda reminds of Rex Orange County in terms of creating great lyrics and sounds. But of course, both artists are amazing in their own ways and voices. Matt's very young too! OMG What have I been doing in my younger years? lol

Have you guys listened to this new song of twice? The first time I've listened to it, it didn't really give a huge impact on me. It took me quite a few moments to actually appreciate it. I've been listening to this since yesterday on repeat and I want more and more. lol get it? that's some wordplay. Okay, whatever.
Anyways, the song is actually really good. I'm not a fan of Twice so I'm not updated that much about them, but is this a summer comeback? Hmm... I suddenly missed Red Velvet... sigh.. their comeback (Seulgi and Irene's sub-unit) was moved to July and am not sure whether there will even be a comeback for the whole group.. sigh... Well, back to Twice... the first time I've watched the MV, it has that Pocahontas vibe in it for me. The forest, the bohemian clothes and adding some neon colors added a much vibrant feel in it. It's nice actually, if there will be an interior design for this it will be very much like a great concept. w What I don't like about the MV though was the stage set outside, it feels like I'm watching a local music program. But nonetheless, I think that this is still fantastic. The girls are very pretty! It was actually Momo's break dance that caught me, and the orange haired girl chanting the 'more and more' lyrics. Those two centers in each of their scenes, I think they absolutely rocked it. Oh I searched about the orange haired girl, so her name is Sana. Nice...
Of course I didn't forgot Nayeon, lol. She's literally the first person I've known in this group. She's absolutely stunning! But on this one, I think the first two that I've mentioned owned this. Just an opinion though. Oh wait! I like Dahyun too! OMG I'm starting to know their names because of this comeback. Should I stop? This is bad... lol my heart only belongs to RV.
